The rocketry revolution of 1950-s historically allowed everything else in space, and the developments of 2020-s are similar. With heavier and much cheaper rockets we can do a lot more in space. Practically everything is touched.
Starlink significantly improved global space communications - and communications are the biggest slice of the commercial space market. Enhanced launch availability brings benefits to government agencies - both NASA and Pentagon enjoy savings coming from cheap Falcon-9 rockets, and we're still not even in the Starship era. With new heavy rockets space telescopes might comfortably get bigger, interplanetary probe launches more frequent and much bigger, Moon exploration, including permanent Moon bases, quite within reach, space stations could step into the next generation. Payload traffic to space with Starship - and to an extent with New Glenn, and hopefully other modern rockets - may grow so much, the space economy will cross the first trillion dollars per year.
The first half of 2020 in the aerospace industry the Starship was a very consequential development program. By the end of the decade we might have moved into the time of vastly bigger opportunities for space exploration and applications. A lot still needs to be done - by launch providers and by payload makers, but our space horizons are seriously expanding again.
