In addition to larger traffic to space, Starship-class launchers increase the unit of mass which can be put to orbit as a whole. Sometimes that is critical - you can't have today a good manned spacecraft launched on Electron rocket to low Earth orbit, even though the Electron rocket is an excellent vehicle. Sometimes that's really convenient - if James Web Space Telescope engineers could launch their telescope using Starship, they might not need to make the main mirror foldable. Or sometimes it really saves mass - the Starlab space station, currently under construction, can be launched in one launch, yet be similar in scale to the Skylab - a unique space station, which used launch capabilities of the legendary Saturn V.
Significantly affecting aerospace industry, Starship effect spills to the greater economy as well. More things will be done in space - more research results, observation data, advanced materials, various kinds of technology, space tourism - that all brings money to space and in return receives value which often can't be otherwise obtained. That's why "Starship era" rocket capabilities will influence many different aspects of our lives, directly or not.
